I started getting involved in designing and coding websites in college for Upstart Magazine, a mag started by my cousin Brendan, his wife Mary, a friend Scott, and myself back in 1997. I continued to create sites on my own, and began learning the benefits of SEO. I was able to get first page rankings for sites related to travel, law, automotive and others. I then started Vermont SEO, a local SEO company through which I help area businesses achieve better rankings on search engines.
In early 2007 I started working for a local automotive website provider with national clients, where I handle automotive SEO exclusively. I attended SES New York in March and it was a great experience.
